About Claire

Health and being able to have an impact on peoples lives has always been important to me. Prior to being an osteopath I worked as a registered nurse, this has given me huge insights into the various workings of the healthcare systems in this country, as well as abroad, having spent a year following my graduation in osteopathy living and working in Vancouver.

I use a variety of additional treatment options including acupuncture, kinesio-taping, and ultrasound. These all complement my approach to treat each person individually and get resolution from pain as quickly as possible.

Since qualifying, I have completed short courses in osteopathic technique, and also the treatment of babies and children. This year, I am looking forward to commencing post-graduate studies in Headache and Migraine Disorders with Edinburgh University. My particular interest in this field has arisen from the successful treatment of many patients who have endured these conditions and the life changing results which can be gained.

I love the outdoors, and such it is important that I maintain my health and fitness to enable me to make the most of our beautiful countryside, regular osteopathic treatment allows me to maintain this to the optimum.
