Having always had a keen interest in both Sport and how the body works it seemed the logical step to take when I made the decision to change careers following running a successful business working with people affected by drugs and alcohol issues.

I have had first-hand experience of sustaining injuries and being frustrated with not just my own body but also the treatment I was receiving. I was fortunate that I eventually came across two modalities which had amazing results the first being chiropractic the second being massage. The great thing was that they both complement each other.

I have a real passion for Sports Massage and the results and effects it has both psychologically and physiologically. I am continuously impressed with how effective it is on the clients I treat. Over the last 3 years I have been working and training in the health and fitness field to gain as much experience as possible to benefit the clients I treat.

I qualified as a Sports Massage therapist in 2014 and this year have further qualified in being able to treat sports injuries.I hold a Level 4 VTCT in Sports Massage but haven’t stopped there and continue to develop my skill set. Currently I am working towards being a fully qualified neuromuscular therapist having already completed Level 1 in Neuromuscular Therapies and seeing the huge benefits this has on patients. Most recently I had the privilege of training with a top physiotherapist who has experience in treating world class Olympic athletes and many celebrities in advanced taping and event massage techniques.

Over the last few year I have worked at varying events such as the great north run, The great North Bike Ride and triathlon attempts by various charities. I have also been very fortunate to have provided sports massage for Durham County Cricket Club over the last year and most recently for the Scottish Rugby World Cup team whilst they were based in Newcastle for the tournament.
